You feel Kate's lack of control over her cruel fate, when for generations Adriana's curse is unleashed on her family. When her only daughter lays dying, enough is enough. You support Kate in getting the revenge she deserves. But the twist at the end is so unexpected.

About the Book

The fatal deed was done long before Kate Branford was born, but many decades later she was still living with the fallout.

Kate alienated herself from her only daughter, Rhea, in the hope it would make her tougher, more resilient. She never considered her sweet, sensitive daughter falling in love, which awakened her curse, pushing her to the brink of death.

Adriana, a woman with supernatural powers, became a bitter, revengeful old woman, after the accidental death of her son. She placed the terrifying curse on Kate's ancestors, and was determined to destroy the last in line, Kate's only child, Rhea.

Kate vowed to track Adriana down through Cork City and finish her for good. Tom Atkinson, a smart, attractive, middle aged man, who saw beyond Kate's horrific aging and her terrifying power, offered to help Kate in her quest. Between Kate and Tom, a unique and wonderful love story unfolds, while travelling around Ireland in search of Adriana.

Just as Kate is about to deliver the final deadly blow on Adriana, Tom appears with a staggering revelation that changes everything.

“You will be hanged for this you rotten scound …”
Without warning the gun went off with a reverberating bang. Cullen's eyes glazed over, empty of emotion, momentarily he stood perfectly still. A single line of bright red blood trickled down from the black circular hole in his forehead, spilling over onto his expressionless face. He dropped to the floor, his last blood curdling rasp of breath leaving his body.

Author Bio

Terri Corbett is a dedicated writer with years of experience in the craft, having earned her MA in Creative Writing in 2010. In addition to holding certificates in Screenwriting and Advanced Screenwriting, her work has garnered significant recognition: her play, 'Festival Pestival,' was shortlisted for an award, as was a screenplay she developed for the BBC. Her short fiction has also appeared in various magazines.

While Terri aims to write every day, she happily balances her time at the keyboard with family life, reading, and watching movies. Her novel, Walls That Bleed, was born during a moment of reflection regarding her late Irish mother. Remembering her mother’s "Mrs. Malaprop" blunders, her infectious laugh, and her secret love for horror stories, Terri set out to write a supernatural horror novel. It is written with her mother in mind, in the hopes that she—and women just like her—would love it.
